In February 2022 we had the crazy idea of buying an old barn in Central Portugal with the dream of turning it into an off-grid homestead.

We took on this challenge with no previous building or homesteading experience, no huge budget, just a dream that we wanted to live a simpler, more connected life.

The journey has been full of ups and downs so far, but it’s always our goal to show our unfiltered and authentic journey in the hopes that it can educate and inspire!
